Importing Footage Import, organise and review footage so you can work more efficiently throughout the edit. Timeline Building Build a sequence on the timeline and begin shaping your footage into a clear rough cut. Cutting for Pace Cut scenes for pace, rhythm and clarity, learning how editing choices affect the flow of a film. Colour Correction Explore basic colour correction to improve consistency and add visual polish to your footage. Exporting Your Film Export your finished film in the correct format, ready to share, upload or continue developing. Useful information Do I need prior editing experience? No. This course is designed for complete beginners, though those with some basic editing knowledge will still benefit from our structured, practical approach. Do I need to bring my own laptop or software? No. All equipment and Adobe Premiere software will be provided in our central London editing suite. Will I work on my own footage? You’ll work on provided footage for practical exercises, but you can bring your own clips for additional practice if you wish. Is this course useful for non-filmmakers? Absolutely.
